Donate2Impact: The next donation period for Donate to Impact is May 5 – 18, 2025-see flyer.

Dances: Nancy Sheffer-Poole and Phyllis Weisheit hosted a WPS Dance on Wednesday April 9 at the Arlington Elks. Debbie Smith and Eula Plummer will host a WPS Dance on May 14, 2025, at the Arlington Elks Lodge. (flyer) Ann Barnes and Ruth Turner will host the WPS DJ dances on Friday, April 25 and Friday, May 23 at the Burleson Senior Center (flyer).

2025 WPS October Drawing: Spring Creek Barbeque has again agreed to provide WPS with Drawing coupons as they have for many years. The Drawing coupon has three parts: a stub to be filled out for the drawing, a schedule for the drawing and prizes, and an offer of a free dinner. If you purchase any regular priced dinner Sunday – Thursday 5-9 PM, you may receive a second of equal or lesser value free. This year the drawing will be at Spring Creek Barbeque, 1724 Highway 287 Mansfield, Oct. 16.

If you have moved, please make sure the WPS office has your correct address. All WPS members will receive their June Newsletter and drawing tickets by US mail. Incorrect addresses will result in a charge to WPS.

Travel: First Travel of Burleson has set up a WPS Caribbean Cruise for Oct 25 to Nov 1. Interior Rooms cost $1728 for two people. A Balcony State Room is $2368 to $2428 for two people. First Travel of Burleson has also set up a bus trip to Marksville, Louisiana, and the Paragon Casino and Hotel for June 8-9. The price is $120 per person based on double occupancy (flyer).
