Dances: Nancy Sheffer- Poole and Phyllis Weisheit will host the August WPS/Elks Lodge dance August 12, 2026, at the Arlington Elks Lodge.
 

Ruth Turner and Ann Barnes will host the WPS DJ Dances on July 24, and August 28, 2026, at the Burleson Senior Center.

​​​Donate2Impact: The remaining 2026 WPS Donate to Impact schedule is 8/17/2026 to 8/30/2026, and 11/09/2026 to 11/22/2026.

2026 WPS Directory: Each year we publish a WPS Directory as a fundraiser. Member directory input sheets are included as flyer attachments to this newsletter so that we can generate the 2026 WPS Directory. The Member and Ad Directory input sheets are also available as flyers on our website, wpstc.org. Return your completed form to the office along with $10 to be included in the 2026 WPS Directory. The Ad input sheet is for Advertisements. A half page ad is $40, and a full-page ad is $60. (flyer)

2026 WPS October Drawing: The 2026 Drawing and General Meeting will be held Thursday, October 15,2026 at the Spring Creek Barbeque 3608 South Cooper St., Arlington, Tx. The drawing tickets are delivered to members with the August newsletter delivered by US mail. This leaves about two months to receive drawing stubs prior to the October drawing.

North Texas Giving Day: This event is scheduled for September 17, 2026. Please consider donating as generously as you can. A donation of any amount is appreciated (flyer).

WPS Travel: First Travel of Burleson has set up a Rodeo bus trip to Marksville, La, October 17-19,2026. Branson trip is full.
