Directory:  We are presently updating the WPS Directory data-base based on the 2026 Directory input sheets we have received and hope to have the results to the printer by the end of January.

​​​​​​Donate To Impact: Our next WPS “Donate to Impact” period is January 12 – 25, 2026. See flyer.

 

Dances: Debbie Smith and Eula Plummer will host a WPS Dance on Wednesday January 14, 2026, at the Arlington Elks Lodge. Ann Barnes and Ruth Turner will host the WPS DJ dance Friday, January 23, 2025, at the Burleson Senior Center. See Flyers.

​​​​​Travel: First Travel of Burleson has set up WPS Alaska Cruise for July 25, 2026, through August 1, 2026, and a Bus Trip to New Orleans, May 11 -15, 2026. See flyers.

Fundraising: Please start the new year thinking about WPS. Although our member participation in events has begun to increase, we must still rely heavily on Donations and Memorials to cover our expenses. Please consider Donations and Memorials to help.

 

Volunteers: (3) are needed to host the Arlington, Southwest, and Burleson dinners. For many newly Widowed Persons, WPS sponsored meals are their first exposure WPS. Hosting a meal is simple and does not require a great deal of time. If you would be willing to host one of events, please contact Diane Bowman @817-996-2337.
