The SALT Council of Tarrant County’s purpose is to work with senior citizens, their families and the public to reduce crime against senior citizens.  It provides an opportunity for the exchange of information between law enforcement and the senior citizens.  To meet these goals SALT has a speaker’s bureau that is free to senior groups to keep them informed.

If you belong to a group that would like an officer to come and present a program, just call 817-884-1287.  If you receive a voice mail recording, leave a message and your call will be returned.

Also, SALT is still collecting cell phones and chargers, so if you take one to a meet and eat or other function of WPS, give it to the host or hostess.
